Airwax wins the French Cup of FreeFly 2018

The French AirWax team has just won the French Cup 2018 during the final round which took place at the Maubeuge skydiving center from June 29th to July 1st. Since the F.A.I 2017 updates, the judging criteria have been reinforced. Despite the new camera penalties now applied, Gregory CROZIER, Karine JOLY and Baptiste WELSCH manage to achieve an average of 8.79/10 on this French Cup round. Moreover, this team realizes for the first time a jump scored at 9.1/10!

These results are very comforting for the two performers Greg and Karine who are celebrating their 10th year of competition this year. Of course, even if this team now has more than 2500 training jumps and the morale is good, each member of the team knows that the hardest part is yet to come.

Indeed, the French Championship which will take place in one month in Vichy from 02 to 05 August, will be the occasion to do everything possible to reproduce this performance. Each of the 7 jumps of these competitions of artistic disciplines is decisive. At this level, no mistake is allowed and these 3 athletes know it well.

We wish good luck to this French team for the upcoming competitions:
the French Championship and the World Championship that will take place in Australia, from October 08 to 13.
